Her interests are in the area of patient safety and she chairs the Medicine Performance Improvement Committee at Saint Vincent Hospital. She transitioned in 2017 to outpatient primary care. She worked as a hospitalist for 17 years and was the medical director of the SVH hospitalist service for 10 years. She is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and a Senior Fellow of the Society of Hospital Medicine. She completed her residency training at Saint Vincent Hospital, Worcester, MA and served as chief resident 1999-2001. ![]() George earned her medical degree from the National University of Singapore and is also a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians, London. She is board certified in Internal Medicine.ĭr. George is Program Director of the Internal Medicine Residency Program at Saint Vincent Hospital and an Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Massachusetts Medical School.
